摘要: Predicting progressive damage in composite materials is essential for the design of most lightweight constructions. When laminated structures are considered, both intralaminar and interlaminar (delamination) evolution need to be addressed. Typically, these different modes treated separately. On contrary, this paper, a continuum model presented which capable modeling orthotropic progression within layers as well delamination. The formulated thermodynamically consistent manner. Moreover, results mesh independent due fracture energy based regularization scheme.
