摘要: A single facer (10) for corrugating paperboard (13) of the type using a very large diameter fluted bonding roll (11) and much smaller (12) which engages to provide nip (14). The small is made be resilient so that it capable inward deflection in vicinity order cushion impact as rolls interengage along nip. cushioning absorbs vibrational movement due choral action interengaging flutes, thereby reduces noise levels, wear improves quality consistency corrugation.
