摘要: In this study, the sorption removal of two anions (phosphates, thiocyanates) and three cations (cadmium, lead, nickel), in single batch systems, was investigated from aqueous solutions. The process involves ions by hydrotalcite, which is a double-layered mixed-metal hydroxide belongs to family anionic clays. sorbent used Mg-Al-CO3 hydrotalcite forms: uncalcined calcined at 500 °C. material showed higher capacity, for all ions, than uncalcined. approximate capacity was: phosphates 250 mg g-1, thiocyanates 80 nickel/lead 100 g-1 cadmium 70 g-1. kinetic results were fitted satisfactory with Lagergren equation. Since relatively high, can be considered as potential both wastewater treatment systems.
