摘要: Small cell cancers of the gastrointestinal tract are part a family extrapulmonary small carcinomas. These tumors can occur anywhere in body and generally carry poor prognosis. Treatment usually consists combination chemotherapy radiation therapy. We present two cases illustrating diagnostic treatment issues review literature on this uncommon but aggressive tumors.
