摘要: The seasonality of abundance and live/dead compositions copepods was studied in the northeastern Mediterranean Sea. Zooplankton, chlorophyll-a, PO4 sampling performed on a monthly basis from March 2006 to February 2007 at both coastal station an open water station. At station, high phytoplankton biomass driven by input Lamas River. On annual average, copepod 53,075 140,227 ind. m-2 stations, respectively. most common taxa were Oithona similis, Euterpina acutifrons, Labidocera spp., Oncaea media, Temora spp. Lucicutia Farranula Microsetella dead did not exceed 7% population; 2.6% dead. average 10.6% population appeared dead; percentages reached 29.5% April 21.7% May 2006, suggesting that community suffered higher nonpredatory mortality than especially spring.
