摘要: Abstract We report on classical trajectory calculations for Arn (n = 100 – 4400) scattering from a Pt(111) surface with low collision velocities. investigate the effects of temperature, cluster size, and incident angle energy transfer fragmentation behavior. A is first heated at impact then by continuous heating while moving laterally tens nanometers surface. When temperature reaches 130–180 K, extensive takes place thermal excitation forces it to leave surface, which inhibits further increase. large number small particles are ejected during this process, fragments may survive interaction. The conditions favoring high survival probability are: velocity normal temperature. Final angular distributions monomers considerably broader than fragments. Monomers also have higher final velocities fragments, depend degree corrugation. results concluded qualitatively reproduce general trends found in experimental data similar systems.
