摘要: Tropical corn silage was compared with sorghum as a basal forage in the diets of high producing dairy cows. Sorghum and tropical silages were each included place ground at incremental concentrations experimental diets. Eight separate fed, four containing ranging neutral detergent fiber (NDF) from approximately 25 to 31% total NDF 41 45%. Diets arranged 2 x 4 factorial design fed lactating cows (n = 24; pretrial mean milk production 39 kg/d; body weight 656 kg; days 81). As dietary increased, intake decreased linearly. The impact on greater for based than silage. Energy reduced, but consumed more when challenged higher fiber. vitro rate extent digestion samples correlated response. slower that contained In vivo digestibility measurements influenced by composition.
