摘要: Natural infection with simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) is known to occur in the African green monkey (AGM). The actual onset of disease has not been recognized SIVagm infected AGM, and precise reason for such apathogenicity AGM remains unclear. We reported previously that peripheral CD4 lymphocytes underwent a peculiar differentiation from CD4+ CD4− cells after vitro activation, we inferred does fall into fatal immunodeficient state because generation helper T vivo. To evaluate this possibility, examined relationship between expression cell activity naturally AGM. identified healthy almost lacking periphery. This showed no signs symptoms retained antibody production comparable those AGMs. In addition, could be isolated CD8+ These observations suggest unique host-virus adaptation developed may helpful explaining fundamental occurring monkey.
