摘要: We have reinvestigated the effect of non-magnetic impurity on thermally-induced magnetic orderings in geometrically frustrated triangular lattice antiferromagnets CuFe 1- x Al O 2 with =0.00, 0.02 and 0.05, using a four-circle neutron diffractometer. Although we inferred our previous work three-axis diffractometer that proper screw type structure is realized intermediate-temperature (IM) phase samples =0.02 =0.05, present found sinusoidally amplitude-modulated moments canted by about 50° from c axis toward hexagonal direction realized. These experimental findings suggest quasi-Ising CuFeO are stabilized not strong Ising anisotropy expected Ising-like successive transitions but small added to strongly competing exchange interactions.
