摘要: Abstract Background and purpose Preoperative chemoradiotherapy (CRT) represents the standard treatment for locally advanced rectal cancer. Tumor response progression vary considerably. MicroRNAs represent master regulators of gene expression, may therefore contribute to this diversity. Material methods Genome-wide microRNA (miRNA) profiling was performed 12 colorectal cancer (CRC) cell lines an individual in vitro signature chemoradiosensitivity established. Functional relevance selected miRNAs established by transfecting miRNA-mimics into SW480 SW837 cells. The prognostic value assessed 128 pretherapeutic patient biopsies. Results Thirty-six were identified significantly correlate with sensitivity CRT ( Q P =0.03). Conclusions This is first report a miRNA expression CRC lines. Many have not been linked potential molecular targets sensitize resistant cancers. If further validated, let7g serve as predictive biomarker.
