First complete genome sequence of a tomato spotted wilt virus isolate from the United States and its relationship to other TSWV isolates of different geographic origin

摘要: We report the first complete nucleotide sequence of a tomato spotted wilt virus (genus Tospovirus, family Bunyaviridae) isolate from United States. The tripartite genome PA01 consisted L, M and S RNAs 8914, 4765 2984 nt, respectively. Similarity percentages in amino acid among previously characterized TSWV isolates are provided here. Phylogenetic analysis on RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) gene placed different clade an Hawaii that was partially previously. Evidence two putative reassortment events segment, South Korea, Italy Brazil, found by phylogenetic recombination analysis, further supporting role for genetic exchange geographic origin evolution.
