摘要: Abstract A procedure for a modal-based modeling and analysis of the effectiveness shunted piezoelectric devices in increasing passive damping elastic aeroelastic systems is presented. Dynamical models with different levels complexity, including both systems, have been considered order to show capability proposed approach. The numerical tests presented concern description several aeronautical interest achieve selective control modes. linear has reduced rational polynomial transfer function, i.e., it represented state–space form which allowed extend piezo general system. In particular, application showed weak improving stability margin, but significant performance reduction gust response level proximity critical condition system (e.g., when flight speed close flutter speed). Thus, suitable damper should be designed any speed, altitude Mach number. An optimal strategy evaluate electrical load tuning devices, as function (semi-active control), also proposed.
