摘要: Numerical simulations of the laminar flow past a rotating sphere are considered for Reynolds numbers Re = 100 and 250, which stationary covers steady axisymmetric planar-symmetric regimes. The non-dimensional rotation speeds W∗ 0.05, 0.20, 0.50 1.00 considered, where is maximum surface velocity normalized by freestream velocity. axis oriented at various angles, a, between limits steamwise transverse rotation. For each number, effects on instantaneous wake structure forces acting presented.
