摘要: The invention features methods and systems for detecting the presence of an energetic material in a sample which is unknown. method includes steps of: heating sample; measuring heat flow between its surrounding environment, e.g., by using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC); analyzing measured environment. An exothermal peak indicates sample. system thermal apparatus performing steps, analyzer based on flow. also identifying contraband materials (e.g., explosives drugs) thermogram DSC) to be identified comparing it reference thermograms known materials.
