摘要: The German Broadcasting Archive maintains the cultural heritage of radio and television broadcasts former Democratic Republic (GDR). uniqueness importance video material fosters a large scientific interest in content. In this paper, we present system for automatic content analysis retrieval to facilitate search historical collections GDR recordings. It relies on distributed, service-oriented architecture includes algorithms shot boundary detection, concept classification, person recognition, text recognition similarity search. combination different modalities allows users obtain answers wide range queries, leading satisfactory results short time. performance is evaluated using 2500 h
