摘要: Luminous infrared galaxies and submillimeter contribute significantly to stellar mass assembly the frequency of GRBs in these systems provides an important test connection between gamma-ray burst rate that overall cosmic star-formation. We present sensitive 3 GHz radio observations using Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array 32 uniformly-selected GRB host spanning a redshift range from 0 10 uJy, corresponding SFR >50 Msun/yr at z~1 or >250 z~2. Similar approximately 10-30% all star-formation, so our results are consistent with which is not strongly biased respect total star-formation galaxy. However, four radio-detected hosts have modest masses (~few x 10^10 Msun), lower than IR/submillimeter-selected field similar luminosities. suggest may be suppressed metal-rich environments but independently enhanced intense starbursts, producing strong efficiency dependence on little net bulk galaxy rate.
