摘要: This paper analyzes the evolution of wage inequality and mobility separately for men women in West East Germany over last four decades. Using a large administrative data set which covers years 1975 to 2008, I find that increased decreased for male female workers Germany. Women faced higher level inequality and lower than both parts country throughout the entire observation period. The decline was sharper Germany so that has fallen below time. Looking at long-term mobility, slowly closing gap between is observed.
