摘要: Etiology of the high rates growth failure in children with cerebral palsy (CP) remains unclear. The purpose this study was to evaluate relation between preterm infants cystic periventricular leukomalacia (CPVL) and neonatal health complications. population consisted all (51) a gestational age <33 weeks who were admitted Children's Hospital Buffalo from 1988 1993 had CPVL. Out 41 survivors CPVL followed, 39 developed CP 18 during infancy. At time greatest failure, majority (72%) signs undernutrition as defined by Waterlow (1972) classification. Oral feeding impairment sole risk factor for occurrence failure. Undernutrition appears be important CP.
