摘要: A method for the effective bleaching of textile goods at temperatures or below about 140`F which consists essentially in exposing same to an aqueous solution, said temperatures, containing amount a material capable generating positive bromine ions (Br s) during goods. The may be available from wide variety sources, including alkali metal hypobromites hypochlorites with source bromide ion being selected group consisting of: a) organo-N-bromo compound N-brominated-hydantoins; N-brominated isocyanurates; melamines and glycolurils; b) organo-N-chloro-N-bromo N-chlorinated-N-brominated-5,5-dialkylhydantoins; N-chlorinated-N-brominated c) organo-N-chloro N-chlorinated-5,5-dialkylhydantoins; N-chlorinated isocyanurates, glycolurils, combination alkaline earth salt, alkyl up 8 carbons.
