摘要: In the presence of pulmonary hypertension, vasculature fails to remodel after birth. Secondary changes then develop, and do so more rapidly than in adult lung because cells are exposed insult whilst still relatively undifferentiated. The commonest causes hypertension newborn young infants alveolar hypoxia, congenital heart disease causing a left-to-right shunt increased blood flow. initial response an increase arterial muscularity is common both, but intimal proliferation can develop those with complex disease. structural abnormalities accompanied by control vascular reactivity, problem which focus much current research activity.
