摘要: Wind power now represents a major and growing source of renewable energy. Large wind turbines (with capacities up to 6–8 MW) are widely installed in distribution networks. Increasing numbers onshore offshore farms, acting as plants, connected directly transmission networks at the scale hundreds megawatts. As its level grid penetration has begun increase dramatically, is starting have significant impact on operation modern system. Advanced electronics technologies being introduced improve characteristics turbines, make them more suitable for integration into grid. Meanwhile, there some emerging challenges that still need be addressed. This paper provides an overview discusses trends used generation. First, state-of-the-art technology global market generally discussed. Several important turbine concepts discussed, along with solutions either individual or entire farms. Some future systems also
