摘要: The presented study considers a two-scale numerical scheme for the description of behavior granular materials. At small-scale level, structure consists 2D round rigid grains, modeled by Discrete Element Method (DEM). macroscopic we consider solution obtained with Finite (FEM). link between scales is made using computational homogenization method, in which average REV stress response micro structure, together tangent moduli, are each Gauss point FEM mesh as result deformation history imposed to REV. In this way, constitutive law and corresponding matrix directly from discrete microstructure. We discuss principle applied association DEM present examples computations, like drained undrained biaxial tests.
