摘要: Importance of the field: Hormone and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2) receptors are two important pharmaceutical targets that affect survival patients with metastatic breast cancer. Discordance hormone HER-2 were reported in a series studies. Receptor status was to change both directions, yet alteration occurs mostly loss positivity for receptors. We do not know exact mechanism this process or contribution rate technical mistakes; number mechanisms might be responsible. Factors suggested include: tumor heterogeneity, clonal selection cell subpopulations, genetic instability cells, local systemic treatments, time interval between primary metastasis, determination techniques, site metastasis.
