摘要: The interaction of inorganic pyrophosphatase from E. coli with phosphate (Pi) was studied in a wide concentration range phosphate. apoenzyme gives two inactive compounds Pi, product phosphorylation the carboxylic group active site and stable complex, which can be detected presence substrate. occurs when Pi is added on millimole scale, micromole concentrations are sufficient for formation complex. phosphorylated enzyme confirmed by its sensitivity to hydroxylamine change properties upon incubation alkaline medium. complex occur different subsites sites, connected cooperative interactions.
