摘要: The present paper analyses changes in the composition and ecological structure of large small mammal faunas mountains comparison with Transuralian peneplain region during Late Pleistocene Holocene. At present, study area is one a number regions Northern Eurasia where series local have been dated. Small fauna occurred mostly due to shifts species ranges, while as result both range extinctions. Large varied synchronously across Southern Urals. transition from periglacial (mammoth) Holocene assemblage recorded approximately at Pleistocene/Holocene boundary seemingly over all Changes were directed largely along same line. From end through Holocene, groups show an increase inhabitants partly forested landscapes forests, decrease open landscape species. This trend was more strongly pronounced mountain peneplain. Urals, southern part Eastern Europe, Altay mountains, Siberia Baikalian followed basic pattern.
