摘要: Nanolasers with ultra-compact footprint can provide high intensity coherent light, which have various potential applications in capacity signal processing, biosensing, and sub-wavelength imaging [1–3]. Among nanolasers, those lasers cavities surrounded metals shown to superior light emission properties due the surface plasmon effect providing better field confinement capability allowing exotic light-matter interaction. In this study, we realize a robust ultraviolet ZnO nanolaser by using silver strongly shrink mode volume. The operated at room temperature shows several distinct features including an extremely small volume down 4.2×10−3λ3, large Purcell factor of 20, group index ∼ 80, ensures strong interaction exciton nanowire [4]. Meanwhile, our current experimental results showed that quality metal play important role laser operation. report, I will also demonstrate stable low threshold lasing action grown molecular beam epitaxy dielectric layer atomic deposition [5].
