Compliance with Nutritional and Lifestyle Recommendations in 13,000 Patients with a Cardiometabolic Disease from the Nutrinet-Santé Study

摘要: Background: A healthy diet has been shown to prevent cardiovascular diseases complications. The objective of this study was assess dietary intakes and compliance with nutritional lifestyle recommendations in French adults diagnosed hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidaemia or disease compared individuals. Methods: Data collected from 26,570 subjects aged 35 70 years (13,285 patients 13,285 controls matched by sex age) the cohort NutriNet-Sante. Dietary were assessed using three 24-h records. Mean food nutrient those multivariable mixed logistic linear regressions. Results: Compared controls, reporting cardiometabolic had lower sweetened products, higher fish seafood a better dairy products. However, overall, they reported unhealthier lifestyles habits. Indeed, less often physically active similar habits regarding alcohol tobacco consumption. They also fruit, meat, processed meat added fats. It is noteworthy that diabetic tended show highest certain (vegetables, pulses whole grain products). Conclusion: Our brings into focus fact some aspects still need be improved among individuals disease. We should encourage fruits vegetables, sodium, as well (physical activity, no-smoking limited intake alcohol) order healthier management after being diagnosed.
