摘要: The prevalence of asthma and allergic disease continues to increase throughout the world, but particularly in westernized countries that are rapidly transitioning a way living. Since vitamin D deficiency has become prevalent, likely role play rise these disorders. However, there two countervailing hypotheses regarding this role. first hypothesis is introduction fortification foods with contributed allergy epidemic, due timing widespread relative recognition epidemic. given documented circulating various populations despite foods, development technologies have made it more attractive for humans spend time indoors, other takes opposite view susceptible This chapter will review epidemiology allergies, deficiency, potential mechanisms by which affects risk, studies been performed investigate D. Finally, concludes some recommendations future studies.
