摘要: Neeta Mehta recently advanced the thesis that medical practice is facing a crisis today. In her paper "Mind-body dualism: critique from health perspective" she attributes to philosophy of Descartes and set out understand why this dualism still alive despite its disavowal philosophers, practitioners lay people. The aim my reply three-fold. First, I draw attention more fundamental problem show inescapable-scientifically commonsensically. then focus on self-conscious emotions shame, guilt remorse, argue self not identical with brain. third section draws in psychiatry stipulates some main reasons so.
