摘要: Abstract Experimental data for a semicontinuous single-stage extraction process of terpenes from lemon essential oil using supercritical carbon-dioxide as solvent are reported. runs were performed at temperature 316 K and pressures 8.0 8.5 MPa. The experimental was modelled assuming that the vapour phase leaving apparatus always in equilibrium with liquid stationary inside vessel, conditions represented by Peng Robinson equation state. In particular, complex system ‘natural oil’ reduced to mixture some main components, limonene; γ-terpinene; citral; linalool; β-caryophyllene. Since it is reached an excellent level agreement between calculated curves, proposed thermodynamic approach seems be reliable. Consequently, characterisation extended study bit more such continuous countercurrent extraction. As example steady state simulation multistage column recycle
