Metaphor, Metaphor Schemata, and Selective Inferencing

摘要: Abstract : This paper demonstrates the importance of spatial and other metaphors. An approach to handling metaphors in a computational framework is described, based on idea selective inferencing. Three types metaphor are examined detail this light: simple metaphor, schema, novel metaphor. Finally, author discusses analogical processes that underlie approach, what says about several classical questions
