摘要: This report presents recommended methods and specifications to detect measure segregation of hot-mix asphalt (HMA) using infrared thermography or ROSANv laser surface texture measurements. It will be particular interest materials construction engineers in state highway agencies, as well contractor personnel responsible for HMA paving projects. Further, the contains criteria classifying severity with these measurement techniques correlating rutting potential, loss fatigue life, permeability, several other performance-related properties.
