摘要: A new test method is described for biogenic sulfuric acid corrosion of concrete, more specifically in sewer conditions. The aim the development an accelerated and reproducible procedure monitoring resistance different types concrete with regard to corrosion. This experimental reflects worst case conditions by providing besides H2S, also enrichment thiobacilli biologically produced sulfur. By simulating cyclic processes occurring pipes, significant differences between mixtures could be detected after 51 days. Concrete modified a styrene-acrylic ester polymer demonstrated higher against attack.
