摘要: The aim of this study was to analyse microvascular damage and compensatory angiogenesis in skin from patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) compared lupus erythematosus (SLE), Raynaud's phenomenon (RP) healthy controls. Immunohistochemistry used for biopsies (9 SSc, 10 SLE, 9 RP 12 controls) using von Willebrand factor β3 integrin subunit specific antibodies, TechMate immunostaining robot biotin-streptavidin protocol. In the early stages vWF found perivascular space interstitial matrix papillary but not reticular dermis, particular around small oedematous blood vessels infiltrated by mononuclear cells. extravascular release SSc specimens associated weak or even a total lack immunoreactivity within endothelial Late were characterised loss dermal papillae, subepidermal fibrosis, hypovascularity strong expression without leakage. all studied only few vascular profiles weakly immunostained subunit. This work demonstrates that is released into circulation, also leaked space/matrix. local deposition probably sensitive marker involvement pathogenesis. Local may play role platelet adhesion, aggregation, thrombogenesis connective tissue remodelling. spite some attempts towards as evidenced expression, it evident angiogenic response able prevent development during advanced disease.
