摘要: The influence of the loading rate on material behaviour glass fibre reinforced phenolic composites and resin-impreg- nated aramid paper (Nomex ) honeycomb structures was investigated experimentally. composite specimens were made woven fabric plies loaded in tension shear. Two types Nomexhoneycomb (hexagonal over-expanded) uniaxial compression all three directions. Quasi-static test results compared to dynamic data obtained a drop tower, where different strain rates from 10 s 1 300 tested. glass/phenolic showed remarkable effect at higher with over 80% increase tensile strength. Also for an stress level up 30% observed. These characteristics should be taken into account case analysis (e.g. crash, impact) sandwich panels public transport applications, which are usually these materials. 2007 Elsevier Ltd.
