Effect of sawteeth on alpha power deposition and ignition in tokamaks

摘要: The main features of the alpha particle heating, ignition and thermonuclear burn in a tokamak plasma with sawtooth oscillations are revealed. sensitivity results to various models sawteeth characteristics safety factor q(r) is investigated. Sawtooth shown have strong influence on conditions burn, provided region their localization relatively large (about half radius) time between crashes small (less than energy confinement time)
