摘要: Summary G-quadruplex (G4) is an important type of nucleic acid secondary structure. An abundance potential G4-forming sites have been shown to exist in genomes, leading increasing interest this research field. G4 motifs are thought be involved the regulation diverse biological processes and interact with various protein factors. Because their regulatory functions, G4s could a variety applications, most meaningful which role as targets antitumor therapies. Here, we focus on functions tumor-related gene use design therapies, including relatively recently reported G4-related binding proteins, mechanisms, G4-ligand designs. We also introduce probes for identification structure formation live cells. Finally, describe some challenges field new
