摘要: Although a Buddhist construct, self-compassion may have implications for understanding psychological adjustment cross-culturally. In Iranian Muslims, the Self-Compassion Scale correlated positively with integrative self-knowledge, self-esteem, and basic need satisfactions negatively depression anxiety. Negative linkages anxiety continued to appear in partial correlations controlling replicating result previously observed United States. Integrative self-knowledge fully or partially mediated all relationships adjustment. also became even more predictive of at higher levels an intrinsic religious orientation. These data further confirmed cross-cultural significance supported suggestion that Muslim is enhanced through sincere efforts get closer God self-knowledge.
