摘要: Abstract In recent years, the use of adhesively-bonded fibre-reinforced composite materials has attracted widespread attention as a viable alternative for retrofitting civil infrastructure such buildings and bridges. This been particularly case concrete structures. The metallic bridges with FRP materials, however, is still in its early stages. real life, these structures are subjected to dynamic loads. Therefore, it necessary understand bond behaviour between steel strengthening both static To examine plates carbon polymers (CFRP) fabrics, this paper describes experimental procedures results double strap joints loaded at different loading rates (2 mm/min, 3.35, 4.43 5 m/s). test program, ultimate load-carrying capacity, effective length, failure mechanism strain distribution were examined all rates. Different numbers CFRP layers lengths investigated. Experimental findings reveal that maximum improvement joint capacity occurs rate 3.35 m/s. It was observed length insensitive joints. modes distributions, exhibit little difference conditions.
