摘要: Calcium (Ca) deficiency in cabbage plants induces oxidative damage, hampering growth and decreasing quality, however, it is hypothesized that silicon (Si) added to the nutrient solution may alleviate crop losses. Therefore, this study aims at evaluating whether supplied reduces, fact, calcium effects on plants. In a greenhouse, were grown using solutions with Ca sufficiency (5 mM) without (2.5 mM), arranged as 2 × 2 factorial randomized blocks, five replications. At 91 days after transplanting, harvested for biological evaluations. treatment Si, promoted stress, low antioxidant content, decreased dry matter, lower quality leaf. On other hand, Si attenuated by cell extravasation while increasing both ascorbic acid content fresh providing firmer leaves due diminished leaf water loss harvesting. We highlighted agronomic importance of solution, especially crops risk deficiency.
