摘要: The estimation of the size an animal population is considered for a situation where stratified and only partial mixing takes place between strata. A consistent estimate found its variance determined. It shown that estimates previously given or frequently used in this are not necessarily and, fact, may be meaningless. Conditions their consistency Some further statistical problems estimating interstrata migration discussed.
