Expression Intensity Recognition Based on Multilayer Hybrid Classifier

摘要: In this paper, an automatic system for recognizing expression intensity is proposed. Modified Active Appearance Model (MAAM) utilized to extract facial feature points (FFPs), and then, according the FFPs’ position, sequence preprocessed. Coarse-to-fine pyramid algorithm employed track FFPs extracting 23 optical flow vectors, eliminating error caused by rigid movement of head. Expression recognized multilayer hybrid classifier. Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifies in form KNN classifier recognizes intensity. We conduct experiments on Cohn-Kanade database result shows good effect.
