摘要: Abstract Photo- and electron-beam (EB) polymerizations are considered green methods used to create numerous polymer products each year. Because they often similar have advantages, sometimes thought of as indistinguishable. However, fundamental differences exist between the two initiation mechanisms that lead in resulting properties. Here, a comparison kinetics network development photo- EB-polymerizations initiated with equivalent primary radical concentrations was conducted for acrylate methacrylate monomers. Photopolymerization resulted higher conversion compared EB-polymerized samples, while EB polymers more highly crosslinked. The crosslinking EB-initiated provide insight how formation secondary reactions affected by mechanisms.
