摘要: Interfirm contact through membership on boards of directors is a means increasing the expertise and information available in firm decision making. Data for sample 455 U.S. firms 1976 show that levels such varied widely among 212 large agribusinesses. Corporate sector, expect those were privately held, maintained significantly higher director board than did cooperatives. The absence range outside cooperative serves principle democratic control but may have adverse effects quality
