摘要: Research focusing on the position of hands with regard to visual stimuli has recently received a great deal attention. One main findings is that are close perceived and processed more precisely than those distant. In this study, effect hand proximity was studied using search task analyzed regarding fixation durations. The were placed in varying positions: directly at screen, table lap. As performance information processing highly dependent subject’s age, effects an age-differentiated manner. Results showed significant positions moderated by age: Fixation durations shorter for screen longer away from younger age group. older group vice versa, screen.
