摘要: A method for making polymeric reflectors and parabolic in particular. The reflector is made by forming a series of layers ( 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 ) that are progressively thinner with the final layer being about one millimeter thickness. then coated reflective 22 vapor deposition. To make reflector, spun cast at constant, preselected rate throughout process, including during curing each layer. Layer formation controlled, particulate-free environment additives can be used to increase stiffness, decrease weight, reduce stresses curing.
