摘要: Relapse prevention (RP) programs mainly focus on substance users. However, workplace support and communications with colleagues can also play an important role in RP. This study compared relapse abstinence duration between a group of Iranian users enrolled peer-supported vocational network (PVN) similar mid term residential treatment centers (MTRTCs). A case–control was conducted among PVN members (n = 85 cases) discharged from MTRTCs controls) Tehran, Iran. Case control groups were matched for age, age first use, date registration center or PVN. One step multi-drug Abon rapid drug test urine samples participants to assess abstinence. Majority the single (44%) 31–40 years old (48%). Statistically significant differences observed supported case groups. The four times higher MTRTCs’ clients reported relapses three more than members. PVNs could be effective method reducing triggers RP Additional research feasibility cost-effectiveness is suggested broader population based implementation across cross-cultural settings.
