摘要: Rationale: Genes in the interleukin (IL)-4/IL-13/IL-4Rα pathway have been shown to be associated with asthma and related phenotypes some populations, but not others. Furthermore, interaction between these genes has affect white Chinese populations.Objectives: To determine whether there are IL-4/IL-13 IL-4Rα gene–gene interactions that African Americans.Methods: Eighteen single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) IL-4, IL-13, were genotyped 264 Americans 176 healthy control subjects.
