摘要: Abstract The Brazilian Cerrado is a biodiversity hotspot because of its high levels species richness, endemism, and degree threat. Plant inventories quantitative vegetation analyses in have contributed to clarifying differentiation community composition among areas, structure across time, biogeographic patterns. Here we perform science mapping analysis investigate patterns, trends, the historical floristic phytosociological research plant communities Cerrado. We obtained 485 articles from ISI Web Science Thomson Reuters platform, Scopus, Scielo, Google Scholar, comprising timeframe 1960 2018. Our findings show an overall increase number studies but not associated with publication quality. Most were authored by researchers public universities. International institutions had infrequent participation field. most productive author constant continuum scientific production over time was Felfili JM (in memorian) University Brasilia, which university (~20% articles). Among 91 different journals, three encompassed 33% production. Although collaboration dominant groups, 2010 2018 found single-authored articles. papers published regional journals low impact factor (IF) citation, narrowing interest field foreign researchers. study points need broaden readership partnership studies, establish network researches, publish higher IF English, allowing access this knowledge Botanists Ecologists other countries.
