摘要: Substantial quantities of chlorinated alkanes and olefins are found in industrial waste streams. The hydrodechlorination reactions tetrachloro-, trichloro-, 1,1-dichloro-, cis-dichloro-, trans-dichloroethylenes were examined over a commercial NiMo/Al{sub 2}O{sub 3} catalyst packed bed microreactor. reactor was operated at 1,500 psig temperatures between 175 275 C. Rates the much faster than rates for chlorobenzene, chlorophenols, chloropyridinols same catalyst. Multiple chlorine removal steps appear to be dominant pathway as opposed sequential with desorption intermediates.
